Puppy Birthday Party

My baby boy Hemlock turned 1 year old on the 18th, and to celebrate him being the world's best dog, I put on a little party for him, for the puppies he knows and some family. My friend, who actually has a yard, was kind enough to host so we didn't have to rent a Sniffspot and be limited by space and not having a place for snacks and stuff.

I know most people would find having a whole birthday party for their dog a silly thing, but that's fine with me. I'm okay being silly because Hemlock is the reason I get up in the mornings a lot recently (he bullies me awake by barking in my face, demanding to go to the dog park at 6 a.m., EVEN THOUGH he knows puppies don't start to arrive until 8/9 and he could let me sleep more). He gives me a daily routine and a dose of happiness every day. I would do anything for that baby boy.

My friend's niece and nephew came, as well as my niece and nephew, which, while it made the party loud and stressful, it was nice to have the kids since Hemlock loves kids so much. He is a herding dog, so he probably just wants to herd the little people, but the little people don't mind.

I took a lot of photos on my nice Fujifilm camera, but I am too lazy to get them on my laptop, so they will just sit on my dedicated "Hemlock" SD card with all the other photos I have been too lazy to get off for months now. But here are some phone pics of the baby boy today <3
