Hi! My name is Taylor. I am 29 years old and was born on April 15, 1997.
I am queer and in a long-term partnership with my partner, Justin. I have ADHD and autism, so those may come up in some of my journal entries.
I like tattoos, weird things, alternative music across a lot of genres, and creepy art.
I also love reading, learning, coding silly things, and taking my puppy Hemlock to the park.
I also collect things like Tamagotchis, vintage romance novels, vintage gothic romance books, and special-edition books.

how the journal works
Each journal entry is written as its own markdown file and every post includes a title, publication date, and short description.
Eleventy collects those files automatically, sorts them by date, and builds an individual webpage for every entry. It also generates the complete journal directory and places the three newest entries on the homepage.
That means I only have to write and save a new post. The journal listings, preview links, dates, and recent-post section update the next time the site is built. No messing with another framework and I have full control over how I wanted my workflow to be.
